Artist's Commentary

“Reception depicts a figure suspended in a moment of silent waiting — poised between two states of being, as though attuned to signals from another dimension. The composition grew from an ongoing fascination with consciousness as a receiver: the idea that certain people are tuned, perhaps involuntarily, to frequencies beyond ordinary perception. The warm interior light pushing through the cool tones is meant to suggest that invitation — a threshold about to be crossed.”
